As part of its commitment to developing academic performance and enhancing the quality of educational procedures, the School of Engineering and Technology, through its Continuous Training and Learning Unit, organized a specialized workshop titled: “Credit Hours and Units System: Definition, Conceptual Framework, and Methods for Calculating ECTS and GPA”
The workshop was presented by Dr. Rafik Elmehdawi, covering the conceptual and organizational aspects of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), methods for calculating academic workload, in addition to the approved foundations for semester and cumulative GPA calculation. Practical examples were provided to contribute to unifying academic work methodologies and enhancing procedural accuracy.
This event is part of the School’s ongoing efforts to support institutional development and improve academic performance efficiency in line with internationally approved standards.
